Getting AroundLocal Buses will stop for you while standing at the side of the road. Most trips are $2 anywhere along West Bay Road. Taxis are also available for specific destinations, but a bit pricey. Renting a car is one of the most convenient and comfortable means of transport for exploring the island, with many rental companies available at the airport. Grand Cayman is easy to get around and no two places are further than an hour’s drive apart, but remember, driving is on the left! If you've booked any tours you may not need a car as most of the tour operators provide free pick up and drop off services.
